My husband and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Nicki of Simplest Details for our wedding. Nicki was extremely professional and personable and provided quality customer service. On the morning of the wedding Nicki and her co-worker showed up early and ready to go with smiles on their faces. Within a couple of hours they had managed to transform Old Orchard Hall in Port Moody into a beautiful, warm and inviting venue by adding drapery to the large windows, covering 70 chairs with white spandex chair covers and gold sashes, and building a large backdrop with flickering lights for the live band. When I arrived at the hall for my ceremony I was totally blown away by how gorgeous the place looked. In addition to setting up, Nicki also came back at midnight by herself to take down everything and I swear she did it in a blink of an eye… I was very impressed! Needless to say I highly recommend Simplest Details Weddings and Events if you are looking for someone to take care of your special day. I know I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I had a vision of what I wanted my wedding day to look like and Nicki went above and beyond. I was very impressed if we had an item to discuss that Nicki always had 3 options for a solution. I had complete faith the day would look amazing I walked into my dream wedding. Nicki is very hard working, quick to respond to emails, phone calls and I had no worries the day would be perfect. My wedding venue (Terminal City Club) was already very beautiful inside and didn’t need much in terms of decor to amp it up, but what it was missing was a fairy light backdrop. Nicki was very quick to give me a quote, and answered a lot of my questions. Even though I didn’t need any other rentals, she wasn’t pushy at all in trying to upsell. The backdrop was a nice focal point and made for lots of fantastic photos too! Thanks Nicki!

We had the pleasure of working with Nicki and she was absolutely lovely. I was trying to figure out if I needed a day of coordinator or not since I was very hands on with the planning. My friends suggested I did hire one so that would be stress free during my wedding. I’m so happy I did. Nicki and Shayla made it so easy for both my husband and I to relax and take everything in on our wedding day. Nicki was also great help when it came to organizing and planning the wedding. She layed it all out for me and made me recognize things I still needed to do. She always made sure everything turned out the way we wanted it. If you’re looking for a decorator/coordinator I would not hesitate to hire Nicki!”

She was able to do both our décor and flowers, which was really important to us because we didn’t want to deal with multiple vendors. Nicki was able to accommodate my strange work schedule and meet up with my husband and I whenever we requested.
Nicki really came through for us on our wedding day. My husband and I got married during the worst power outage since 2006, and naturally, we were panicked that things wouldn’t go according to plan. Despite the chaos, Nicki kept our minds at ease and she managed to prepare our flowers and décor beautifully.

After a few frustrating months, I was about to give up and just purchase everything I needed for the wedding, which would have been at a huge cost to me. I made a post about it and then the best thing happened. Nicki from Simplest Wedding Details sent me a message, assuring me that she could help with everything on my list.
We met over coffee. Her professionalism, energy and confidence completely won me over! The only thing she didn’t have was the colour of table cloths that I was looking for, but she assured me that she could buy them and no extra fee for me!
Nicki was there for me every step of the way. She assisted with set up of a rehearsal of the hall and placement of chairs and tables, she helped me find other companies to help with other things I needed done. But most of all, she responded to every silly, late night and early morning text from me-calming all of my fears.
We rented a very plain hall directly across the street from my house in Langley. What Nicki did to that hall was nothing short of magical. ... She and her team worked all day, ensuring that everything was perfect. And it was.
Nicki took my scattered thoughts and fears and turned them into more than I ever could have ever imagined. She made the wedding day that I didn’t even want into something incredible.

Just wanted to provide a recommendation for Nicki Holborn of Simplest Details. She met me on a rainy Sunday some months before and even though she didn’t have my colours in stock, she ordered them all at no extra cost to me. I had considered ordering all my own linens, napkins, chair covers, sashes, etc., but I couldn’t have done nearly as beautiful a job as Nicki did, and I’m SO glad I outsourced this because I wouldn’t have wanted to spend all my time setting up and taking down immediately before and after my wedding. Excellent service (very reassuring), totally reasonable price and saved me a TON of hassle and worry. Thanks Nicki, so glad I found you!
